Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground turkey
- ⅓ cup chopped yellow onion
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ¾ cup almond flour
- 1-2 cloves finely chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon liquid aminos
- 3 tablespoons sugar-free ketchup
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 large egg
Step By Step
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and spritzing it with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, pour the olive oil and heat until it shimmers, about 1 minute. Add the onion to the pan and cook until softened, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add all the ingredients, including the onions, to the large bowl of a stand mixer. Beat just until combined.
- Portion the mixture into 1 to 2-inch meatballs using a cookie scoop and roll evenly in your hands. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs for 15 to 20 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
