What’s the difference between disinfectants & sanitizers?
According to the EPA, “sanitizers and disinfectants are two types of antimicrobial pesticides. Surface disinfectant products are subject to more rigorous EPA testing requirements and must clear a higher bar for effectiveness than surface sanitizing products.”
Materials Needed
- 1 (16 ounces) bottle 70% or higher isopropyl alcohol
- ½ teaspoon hydrogen peroxide
- ½ teaspoon tea tree essential oil
How to Make Disinfectant Spray
- Pour alcohol into a dark glass spray bottle.
- Add the hydrogen peroxide and tea tree essential oil to the bottle.
- Seal the bottle and shake well.
- Spray to use.
